Soup: Caldo Verde (Portuguese kale soup) with artisan chorizo.
Starters: Grilled island black pudding with pineapple reduction | Traditional appetizer tasting (cod fritter, chorizo rissole, meat rissole, and chef’s croquette).
Main: Slow-cooked pork loin, harmonized with fresh clams in "Bulhão Pato" sauce and our signature regional crispy potatoes.
Dessert: Artisanal bean tart, fresh citrus accents

Soup: Free-range chicken consommé, low-temperature poached quail egg, fresh herbs.
Starters: Traditional salt cod "punheta", virgin olive oil, marinated red onion | Island-style beef liver with local wine reduction.

Main: Duo of premium Azores beef, carnaroli rice with meat and saffron, glazed seasonal vegetables.

Miguel and Paula did a great job with our meal. They were very responsive before the dinner, answering our many questions and adjusting the menu to accommodate everyone’s preferences. The food was very good and the cleanup was excellent. Thank you!

We cannot recommend Chef Miguel highly enough! We hired him at the last minute and he was incredibly responsive and understanding. He prepared 5 breakfasts and 2 dinners while we were there. Chef Miguel was so kind and attentive to the entire family, even helping with our baby — and the cooking and service were amazing! The Furnas soup, the grilled limpets, the seafood… The kids were trying new things and we were eating incredibly well! He even brought gifts for the family on our last morning. We would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

We were staying in Ponta Delgada and hired Miguel and Paula for a few nights of our trip. They were amazing. Great communication, very flexible, and most importantly, they cooked incredible food! One of the real highlights of our trip was the meal they prepared for us using the fish we had just caught on the boat that day.

Chef Miguel was absolutely incredible. He was so kind and thoughtful, and he prepared the most delicious four-course meal for my group of friends at our villa. I cannot recommend him enough for your dinner in the Azores. He was very quick to respond to my questions and offered great options for each course for me to choose from. This was one of the highlights of our Azores vacation. Book him immediately!
We were on vacation in Portugal with a family of 9 staying in an Airbnb, and Chef Miguel and his nephew Miguel were absolutely amazing in preparing and serving with the limited essentials in the Airbnb. The meal was not only excellent but exceeded our expectations. We were extremely satisfied and would recommend them to all our family and guests living in or visiting Portugal.
